Plastic repair GURUS since 1981
This Jeep Grand Cherokee's bumper and cladding are faded and chalky. It is in desparate need of PermaShine.
You want to remove anything that will prevent PermaShine from sticking. Clean the plastic with soap and water. To remove contamination that cannot be removed with soap and water, use Super Prep Plastic Cleaner. This will remove tar, sap, bugs, etc.
Mask off any areas where you don't want to apply PermShine.
Pour PermaShine into a paint tray and use a foam roller to apply PermaShine to large flat areas. If you get any bubbles in the PermaShine, roll over the bubbles until they disappear. You may need several rollers as PermaShine may cause swelling of the foam.
Use a foam brush to apply PermaShine into tight spaces and grooves. If you get any bubbles, roll over them with the roller until they disappear. You may need several foam brushes as PermaShine may cause swelling of the foam.
After the PermaShine dries, remove the masking tape and you are finished.
