The 6029 Bigfoot Tip has a foot that's 95% larger than our original tube tip for faster, easier welding! It has a 1/8th inch (3.2mm) hole to accept all of our "01 " profile (1/8 in. diameter) standard welding rods.

Will this tip fit into my soldering iron that I already have?
It is very unlikely that this tip will fit into your existing soldering iron. The threads on this tip are 12/24 NPT (National Pipe Taper)
Of what type of metal is this tip made?
This tip is cast brass, which is a mixture of copper and zinc. There is no lead in our brass and is, therefore, ROHS compliant.
