GTX is the brand name for a plastic (actually, the brand name is Noryl GTX from Sabic). The generic name is PA+PPE. GTX is a plastic alloy. It is a mixuture of Nylon and polyphenylene ether. The plastic has good heat resistance and chemical resistance, as well as having stiffness and good impact resistance.
