Bulk Natural High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Plastic Welding Ribbon, 3/8" x 1/16"

Many applications use high density polyethylene (HDPE) rather than low density polyethylene. This plastic also has a waxy feel to it like low density polyethylene. When sanded at high speed or when it is cut with a jig saw, it is not as "hairy" as low density polyethylene. Almost impossible to paint. Each rod measures 12 inches (30 cm) long and is 3/8th inch (9.5 mm) wide by 1/16th inch (1.6mm) thick. Approximately 111 rods in 1 lb. (0.45 kg)

Recycle Symbol
Float Test:	Floats
Burn Test:	Fast. Drips while burning. Slight black smoke.
