PET (or PETE) plastic stands for "Polyethylene Terephthalate." It is a thermoplastic polymer that is commonly used to make food containers like those 5-gallon bottles that you see on water dispensers, but mostly, it is spun into fibers to make clothing. You may know it better as "polyester". Occasionally, PET is used in automotive plastic appliactions. PET plastic is used on some under-hood plastics. This package contains 1 lb.
