PPE+PS is not used very often in automotive applications. When it is used, it is normally found in fuse boxes, circuit box covers, cowl vent grilles, a few BMW bumper covers, and other underhood plastic where heat resistance and chemical resistance are required. It is sometimes used outside of the engine compartment, too. For example, it is sometimes used to make hubcaps, TV housings, Playstation parts, hardhats, and many other applications where a rigid, durable plastic is required. PPE+PS is a rigid plastic with a relatively high melting point. PPE+PS goes by different brand names. Some of the PPE+PS brand names are: Xyron, Noryl. This package contains 1 lb. (0.45 kg) of welding rod. Each rod is 1 ft. (30 cm) long and 1/8 inch (3 mm) diameter. There are approximately 196 welding rods in 1 lb. (0.45 kg).
