Repairing a Sea-Doo Polytec Hull

Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) uses a hull material called "Polytec" for several of its Sea-Doo personal watercraft. Polytec is a glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene material that is much lighter than traditional fiberglass or SMC used for watercraft hulls.

While Sea-Doo’s Polytec material is tough due to the glass fibers embedded in the polypropylene, it is not indestructible. The hull can still crack or break if struck with enough force. Replacing a cracked hull can be costly, but with Polyvance’s products and techniques, you can make high-quality repairs that could save you thousands of dollars.
