Repairing a Fender Liner Flange on a Bumper Cover
Many bumper covers feature a flange inside the wheel well where the inner fender liner mounts. This flange protrudes vertically from the bumper face and often tears at the base, where the plastic is thinnest.
Due to the 90-degree angle and the thin plastic at the base, repairing this with an adhesive can be challenging. Instead, Polyvance's nitrogen plastic welder and the 90-degree angle welding rod makes for a strong repair. In this video, we demonstrate a one-sided repair that does not affect the appearance of the bumper cover on the opposite side.
