Some pickup trucks have urethane side panels on the pickup bed, often referred to as "flareside" or "stepside." These panels can be expensive to replace, but if you can find a donor panel from a salvage yard, you can save a lot of money by repairing the original panel.
Urethane is a thermoset plastic, meaning it cannot be melted, so nitrogen welders cannot be used. However, an airless plastic welder can be used to create a hot-melt glue-style repair.
