Acrylic/PVC Welding Rod | R17

Acrylic/PVC is a blend of acrylic and polyvinyl chloride, commonly known by the brand name Kydex® from SEKISUI KYDEX, LLC. This material is used in aircraft interior applications, such as pull-down trays, seat backs, and window shades, and other areas where a low-flammability, thermoformed plastic sheet is best. Additionally, is used in some applications that require a material that is waterproof, scratch-resistant, and won’t stretch or shrink under normal conditions.

This welding rod can be used with an airless plastic welder, hot air plastic welder, or nitrogen plastic welder. Each welding rod measures 12.6 inches (32 cm) in length.
