PA + 15% Glass Fiber (PA+GF15) Welding Rod | R21

PA+15% Glass Fiber (PA+GF15) plastic welding rod is used when welding glass reinforced polyamide (nylon) plastic.

Glass fibers can be added to nylon plastic to enhance its strength. The identification symbol on the part indicates the amount of glass fiber added (e.g., PA+GF15 contains 15% glass fiber, while PA+GF20 contains 20%). Glass reinforced nylon is used in radiator tanks, intake manifolds, and oil pans.

This welding rod can be used with an airless plastic welder, hot air plastic welder, or nitrogen plastic welder. Each welding rod measures 12 inches (30 cm) in length.
