Polypropylene + 15% Glass Fiber (PP+GF15) Welding Rod

Polypropylene+15% Glass Fiber (PP+GF15) plastic welding rod is used when welding glass reinforced polypropylene plastic.

Glass fibers can be added to polypropylene plastic to enhance its strength. The identification symbol on the part indicates the amount of glass fiber added (e.g., PP+GF15 contains 15% glass fiber, while PP+GF20 contains 20%). Some Sea-Doo® hulls are made from fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene, branded by the company as Polytec™.

Each welding rod measures 12 inches (30 cm) in length.
