Quick-Release Hose Retrofit Kit
If you purchased an 8000 series or 8200 series nitrogen plastic welder built before September 2020 and require a hose, bulkhead connector, or handle, you will need to use this Quick-Release Hose Retrofit Kit to upgrade your welder to the improved design. Retrofitting your welder with this new assembly is required, as the updated components are not compatible with welders built prior to September 2020.
How Can I Tell if I Need to Upgrade?
To determine if you need the retrofit kit, first unscrew the metal collar at the base of your handle. Next, remove the handle from the hose and look at the connector. If the connector is the old style without the metal interlock, you must upgrade to the new style. If you have a new style connector with the metal interlock, you do not need the retrofit kit.
