Sport bikes from the 80s and 90s remain popular among enthusiasts. Unfortunately, their plastic fairings are prone to damage and are nearly impossible to replace today. However, with Polyvance’s PlastiFix rigid plastic repair system, damaged motorcycle fairings can be quickly and easily restored.

In this video, we repaired a cracked Honda VFR750 Interceptor fairing caused by a sidestand tip-over. The fairing is made of ABS plastic, a material commonly used in sport bikes from the 80s and 90s and still in use today. Because PlastiFix is a methacrylate monomer adhesive system designed to repair nearly any rigid plastic, it was an ideal solution for repairing the ABS fairing.
