Polyvance's 6102 modular hose and wiring assembly was introduced on Polyvance's 8000-series nitrogen plastic welders. Older model nitrogen plastic welders may be upgraded to this modular hose and wiring assembly. This will allow older welders to have the convenience of hose replacement WITHOUT having to get inside the welder box.
How to Install the 6102 Hose and Handle Assembly (Click or tap to expand)
Please follow these steps carefully to attach the 6102 modular hose and wiring assembly to any of our 8000 series welders:
Attach the hose with the threaded collar at the end to the welder by carefully lining up the notches in each part. Turn the threaded collar to pull the connector in. Don’t push the connector in because the pins are easily damaged.
Attach the other end of the hose to the bottom of the handle. Line up the notches and turn the threaded collar to connect the hose and handle. DO NOT TWIST THE HANDLE! This will damage the pins in the socket. Sheared & twisted pins are NOT covered by warranty.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are retrofitting an older welder that does NOT have this modular hose and wiring assembly, you will need to purchase the following parts in addition to this hose and wiring assembly. The additional parts you will need are listed below.
