This package contains 1 pound (0.45 kg) of high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic welding rod. Each rod is 12 inches (30 cm) long and 1/8th inch in diameter and there are approximately 257 sticks in a pack.
This rod has a black pigment added to it so that you can get a less visible repair when you weld black HDPE plastic.
