HDPE stands for High Density Polyethylene. It is not widely used in automotive applications and is not included with our plastic welders, but we do make it available for those times when it is needed. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) welding rod in natural color. Each rod is 5/8 in. wide (15.8 mm) by 1/16 in. (1.6 mm) thick by 1 foot long (30 cm) long and there are approximately 60 rods in 1 pound.
