This 3AG 1-1/4" x 1/4" 8 amp fuse is used in some of Polyvance's nitrogen plastic welding systems. The "AG" stands for "automotive glass," but that only describes the appearance, because these fuses are ceramic, slow-blow fuses that are the same shape as automotive glass fuses.

How do I test my fuse to see if it is good?
You will need a multi-meter, or an ohm meter. On your multi-meter, turn the settings to "ohms".
You should get a reading above zero. It usually reads from 0.3 to 0.5 ohms. If it is an open circuit (meaning the fuse is bad), you will not get a reading.
