We were the first in the market with a nitrogen plastic welder. We introduced the technology to the industry in 2006. The current 8000-series models are our sixth-generation welders, incorporating all of the features and benefits of its predecessors along the way, as well as the improvements along the way.
Our welders have user-adjustable flow control whereas some of the competing units have fixed flow. They present this as a benefit, assuming that most technicians don't understand the benefit of flow control. However, ours gives the technician control in case they are welding something unusually thin (like bumper tabs) or thick (like heavy truck panels).
Polyvance offers by far the most complete selection of plastic welding rod in the world. Our welders come with five different profiles of polypropylene in natural (white). We also offer a full selection of other plastics in both round rod and ribbon format (LDPE, HDPE, TPO, PC, and ABS). We also carry labeled welding rod organizer cases so you can keep your welding rods under control and out of the dust in the shop.
Our 8000-series welders feature a removeable hose and wiring assembly, making replacement of a damaged hose or handle simple and quick, minimizing downtime and keeping your technicians productive.
