New PR-05 Texture Refinishing Course Approved for I-CAR Industry Training Alliance

At the SEMA show in November, a lot of people stopped by our booth with interest in repairing more damaged plastics because of part shortages and delays we're all suffering from now.

Sure, our nitrogen plastic welders help people repair damaged plastics every day. But what if the part is textured? Do your technicians have the skills and materials to refinish textured plastics?

Polyvance now has the training you need with our new PR-05 Texture Refinishing Course, the industry's first hands-on course for texture refinishing. The new PR-05 course provides the background knowledge and hands-on training allowing shops to restore damaged textured parts, improve cycle times, and reduce severity.

The training in the PR-05 Texture Refinishing Course pairs perfectly with Polyvance's 3804 Flextex VT, a texture material which allows the user to vary the texture grain from coarse to fine via paint reduction and by varying spray gun setup and technique.

The PR-05 course is $500 per session, is delivered at your shop, and each session can accommodate up to six technicians. The course takes about 1.5 to 2 hours and provides one I-CAR credit for each student who completes it. Most importantly, your technicians will get hands-on training in the special spray technique required to successfully simulate OEM texture on damaged textured parts.
